Episode 4 – Ryan Conrad – Failing to Feel Defeated

Listen to this episode

Yoga teacher and physical therapist, Ryan Conrad, joins Jason to talk about everything you might want to say and do when you’ve been told you only have 18 months to live. This interview took place about 6 months after Ryan found out he had Pancreatic Cancer, and about a year before he died. It is part of the legacy he leaves behind for his son, Harper Reed. But hey, don’t get depressed. This is a fun and funny episode, with two guys swapping stories and talking about the things in life that truly matter. This conversation gives the very existence of Learning To Fail reason for being.

Thank you for this. I am one of the many that Ryan made feel close to him, while really being just little more than an acquaintance. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed it immensely. The conversation between the two of you made me feel like I was sitting right there amidst it, and I felt lucky to be there. It’s a gem. It’s amazing how much of an effect Ryan had on my life, by my just witnessing his. His clarity, articulation, and grace in this conversation, were the perfect expression of his character, and the observational humor, wit, and inquiry seemed to me a perfect expression of yours. All the best.
