Failing at Fear of Failure with JP Sears

Interviewing JP Sears was everything I’d hoped for and more.

I have been following this guy for years and he is simply hilarious. He’s also insightful, sincere and inspiring in his totally unique way.

I saw JP perform in Asheville and was pretty blown away by his whole act. First of all he was really funny. But he also kept total command of the room for well over an hour! As a comedian, I am very aware of how hard this is to do. I don’t know if all of his shows are like this, but the stage was in the center of the room, which meant he always had his back to half of the audience. It also left him even more exposed than comics tend to feel. If you ever get a chance to see JP perform live, do it. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

My favorite thing about JP is his story. He’s has been doing personal coaching around the world for years. But something was missing for him. There was a fundamental piece of himself that wasn’t being expressed. His sense of humor. He was understandably fearful that if he let his freak flag fly, he’d lose his audience. Can you imagine if he'd allowed that fear to keep his humor at bay? Few of us would have any idea who he was.

JP Sears is living proof that facing your fear of failure is the fastest freeway to fulfillment.
